I recently came across this. The idea is not new, we all have tried to personalize our working space at some point to some extend. But these guys form Balcom agency just took it to a step further. Apparently the white walls and awful built-ins with imitation formica were killing the creative spirit so they decided to renovate the space. Each employee was given a $300 allowance, a new desk and new chair to redo their cubicles (some used their own additional money). At first they thought it might end up looking chaotic, but they all were pleasantly surprised with the result, which they said makes the space more homey.I guess the only problem is if one of them resign.. imagine the overhauling process. Other than that, i think it’s pretty awesome.

Hmm, what if……

I want a huge red LED digital clock mounted in the wall, anyone know where I can get that? Is it pricey?

Welcome to the future office… where creative environment will lead into more creative ideas… maybe not the personal cubicle but the office environment is what we’re heading… hopefully we’re going there… for the new passionland… cross our fingers :-)
