sony ericsson + microsoft vs apple iPhone?

Categories : mobile

X1New Sony Ericsson X1 powered by Windows mobile is HOT!!! cool DESIGN, cool user interface, video call, motion sensor, full qwerty keyboard, high speed internet connectivity (HSDPA), touch screen and many more!!!!!

Feature wise, it’s definitely ahead iPhone; in fact it might also ahead iPhone 3G that will be release sometime this year. Volume wise, X1 will beat iPhone because it’s mass product (when I say mass, it means X1 will be sold in all SE distribution channels in all continents).

For SE, it can be a way to beat Nokia’s product popularity on high end smartphone and for Microsoft, it will answer Apple’s threat in mobile world.

So? wait for cracked iPhone 3G or buy X1 with local warranty :)

If I have a chance to buy X1, definitely I’ll buy one!

Well, the built-in GPS is nice as is the 480×800 resolution, but it is 50% fatter than the iPhone, heavier, only has 400MBs of onboard storage vs 8GB or 16GB, a smaller screen (3” vs 3.5”) and suffers from the excruciating Windows Mobile 6.

I ended up giving up my $1000 HTC-made Windows Mobile PDA Phone (with a slide-out keyboard that died after a year) I used up till recently (and the hundreds of dollars of software I bought for it) for similar reasons to the editor of ExtremeTech in his article “Screw Windows Mobile, I’m Getting an iPhone” : http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1697,2259612,00.asp

Sony Ericsson has made a very bad mistake leaving Symbian for Windows Mobile, so no, add me to the long line of people waiting for the 3G iPhone and itching to see what the hordes of eager developers come up with once the iPhone SDK is released.

If you haven’t seen the website click here.
Apart from the feature and performance. I actually like the product design, but then I seen the movie from the web, and the motion transition was so Windows which I hate, I know I’m a big fan of PC, but when it come to this, come on can’t you make the motion smoother (get an animator to your team Bill). Kudos to mac for their smooth transition.

I also a fan of Apple, but they doesn’t provide any support for iPhone users in Indonesia. They don’t even think about distribute it in Indonesia. :)
Hopefully, they will for their 3G phone. because I believe so many people will buy it.. right ben? hakim?

I have been using ericsson then SE in my whole experience of using handphones…
So now I’m confuse should i go for X1 licensed or iPhone without license..

Well, IMHO if you are not exactly know in detail abt a thing just buy something official rather than cracked edition.
