Which type of presentation are you? [extra]
To continue on the prev posting by Yoris, this is worth checking out.. After that, let’s be honest to ourself, raise of hands if you’ve made or have been making this hilarious “mistakes” , both in powerpoint, or keynote… hahaha…
.
Hopefully we’ll learn a thing or two from that video. It’s time to put our pecha kucha exercise to good use people…hehe, enough w the graphs, shapes, n bullet points. Think of it this way; What will Steve Jobs do?? ;)
I have to admit I am one of those people who just don’t get why people like to send useless “so-called-cute” email with puppies and babies in it, that in my opinion do nothing more than cluttering our inbox. Well, apparently there are a gazillion people out the who just can’t have enough of those stuff. Just check out this site: http://icanhascheezburger.com/
What started probably out of boredome, now has grown to be quite a cash generating site. This one for example, in a short time has grown from a living room based site to now operating w 9 employees, and merchandising sales. Think of the possibilites…
ck ck ck…the internet really is a weird and wonderful thing
A case of mistaken identity
The new XEROX logo. Many said looked like XBOX logo. And oh, the objective is that they don’t want to be known as just a copy machine company btw.
And here’s one of the comments made on some design forum which i think is hillarious…
Why didn’t anyone think of this sooner?
The idea is right in front of everyone’s nose, but yet….. This is so cool and makes me wanna get my hands on those Macbook Air just so I can carry around this super cool realistic lookin laptop case…
It’s been a huge hit in the states. They also did a pretty decent job making the online store appears like it’s a link of the official apple website. Smart move guys…..
I recently came across this. The idea is not new, we all have tried to personalize our working space at some point to some extend. But these guys form Balcom agency just took it to a step further. Apparently the white walls and awful built-ins with imitation formica were killing the creative spirit so they decided to renovate the space. Each employee was given a $300 allowance, a new desk and new chair to redo their cubicles (some used their own additional money). At first they thought it might end up looking chaotic, but they all were pleasantly surprised with the result, which they said makes the space more homey.I guess the only problem is if one of them resign.. imagine the overhauling process. Other than that, i think it’s pretty awesome.

Hmm, what if……
