Color Tokyo ! from Sony Bravia
This is a case study from the most favourite speaker (I guest) in 3rd AMPF (Asia Pacific Media Forum) in Bali 4-6 June 2008. The speaker is Kentaro Kimura, creative director & account planner Hakuhodo KETTLE Inc Japan. His presentation was about “How to Boil The World ? Bringing the Moment in Media”. According to Kentaro San, one thing that make an activity become so special is “the moment” because “the moment” will give new life or momentum for a product or brand.
There is 3 steps to bring the moment for your consumers :
1. Find the moment - the most relevant place and time for your product interact with the consumers
2. Create the moment - how you design the event and offer brand experience that attract the audiences
3. Fuel the moment - how you connect the consumers with the brand, let them participate and spread excitement and enthusiasm to the others.
May be this video from Sony Bravia will tell more than words to explain how the brand try to give not only a message of color but experience playing color by inviting Tokyo’s citizen to”COLOR TOKYO” (the campaign).
I think this has been going on for the past month. Troika has done a really nice project. Those guys has created a new Mac virus called Newton virus. Don’t worry this isn’t a dangerous virus, it’s just a prank virus, I think a lot of people wouldn’t mind to catch one.
Well, how bout virus for viral?
Mobile Phone as Doorbell
If you often forget where you put your door keys, or leave your house or apartment for a long time, maybe you need this stuff guys.

Already on the market in the Netherlands, the Waleli GSM doorbell is a clever application for GSM mobile phone technology, allowing people to answer their doorbell, talk to visitors, and even open the door, whether they are at home or not. All via their GSM mobile phones. In the Netherlands, the GSM doorbell is marketed via property developers and home security specialists, since the device is often linked with electronic door systems.
How the Waleli GSM doorbell works ?
The GSM Doorbell looks like any other doorbell you might find on a house. When a caller pushes the GSM Doorbell, it rings the resident’s mobile phone via the international GSM network. The visitor can talk to the resident via the small intercom panel next to the bell push. The GSM doorbell can also be linked to an electronic door release, allowing the resident to unlock the front door from the mobile phone keypad, using a secret code.
When the householder is at home and doesn’t need the GSM mobile functionality, the GSM doorbell can be switched to normal doorbell mode with a single keypush.
After like one week composing photographs (awesome work by Dewi) for scenery, fighting over the story concept in brainstorming session with David, the art director and Indra, the developer, finally we come up with really fun and exciting idea for Lost in Love website, and yesterday we had our photography and video shooting session, here are some shots over what happened yesterday, not much and might me a little blurry, since we got many things to do yesterday and yeah I’m suck at photography.
Above is the scenery concept for the website, nicely done by Dewi.
