Zuckerberg… Social Ads!

Categories : CommunicationMarketing

Mark Zuckerberg declared today at the Facebook Social Advertising Event in New York City.

“The next hundred years will be different for advertising, and it starts today. Yes, today is the first day of the rest of advertising’s life.”

If you wanna learn more about it, just click Facebook Press Release.

The Coca-Cola Company will feature its Sprite brand on a new Facebook Page and will invite users to add an application to their account called “Sprite Sips.” People will be able to create, configure and interact with an animated Sprite Sips character. For consumers in the United States, the experience can be enhanced by entering a PIN code found under the cap of every 20 oz. bottle of Sprite to unlock special features and accessories. The Sprite Sips character provides a means for interacting with friends on Facebook. In addition, Sprite will create a new Facebook Page for Sprite Sips and will run a series of Social Ads that leverage Facebook’s natural viral communications to spread the application across its user base.

Hey all Octokers please learn more about it and share to all. Keep up your PASSION!

Gift from Bangkok (1)

I just couldn’t sleep last night in Changi Airport and i decide to write sumthin’ for Octokers. Hope you like it.

One of my favorite speaker is Jan Johnsen (not because the same name). He is a unit head revenue development unit of dtac, 2nd biggest mobile operator in Thailand. I wanna share to you a little about what he was shared to us. All about consumers. We better know what to make from knowing the consumers’ want. Dtac create a team (approx. 800 persons) who meets the existing and potential consumers weekly. The team is like an army team and about bi-weekly the top level management also join the army team. Wow wow wow. They always try to talk to their customers, makes no distance between them, serving them well and the most important thing is thinking like consumers’ think.

Learn from this case. I remember about PASSION that we already launch. Do you remember huh? I just imagine what will happen if all the octokers gonna be like army team to talk each other internal and external about PASSION? I think that’s gonna be awesome. Just start today!

It emboldens the entire company to get aggressive, stretch the boundaries, think outside the box. The message has ripple effects outside the company.
